Insurance, finance and how paying works.

No plans to buy and nothing sold on this page. What follows is how international insurance interacts with treatment through Ovela, what your written quote contains, and how payment actually happens.

01

Using international insurance

Many international insurers reimburse treatment received abroad, and a number of global health plans explicitly cover care in accredited overseas hospitals. Whether your policy does — and at what rate — is a question only your insurer can answer, so verify coverage and any pre-authorisation requirements with them before you travel.

Ovela supports every claim with the paperwork insurers ask for: itemised invoices, medical reports and discharge documents, prepared in English and issued promptly. Direct billing, where the insurer pays the hospital rather than reimbursing you, depends on the individual insurer and hospital; your coordinator will tell you whether it is available for your case.

02

What your written quote covers

Your all-inclusive written quote itemises everything the price contains: the surgeon’s fee, hospital charges, implant and materials, the nights of your stay, transfers and scheduled follow-up. Nothing on that list is billed again later.

The quote is fixed at the moment it is issued and honoured for 90 days. No price shown anywhere on this site is final — published figures are indicative starting ranges only, and your own number exists only in your written quote.

03

Paying for treatment

The typical flow is simple: a deposit confirms your booking, and the balance follows the schedule set out in your written quote — most patients settle it around admission.

We accept bank transfer and card. Amounts are quoted and payable in USD unless another currency is agreed with your coordinator in writing.
